Being a firefighter is one of the most rewarding ways to contribute to your community. and our community sincerely appreciates your commitment and service.  If you are not sure about joining and want to see our operations and training for yourself, please join us at our weekly training sessions on Thursday nights from 7:00 to 10:00 pm to see some of the action.

You will be expected to attend most Thursday night practices, respond to calls, attend a few weekend training sessions to achieve and maintain a reasonable level of competency as well as volunteer for various community activities. Becoming a member of the East Sooke Volunteer Fire Department will allow you to interact with more people in the community, generate more friendships and enjoy the camaraderie.
