All social events are hosted by the East Sooke Fire Brigade, a social society of the Fire Department.

SUMMER FUN FAIR

Our annual Summer Fun Fest & Open House is a free community fun family event for all to enjoy. The highlight is our Slip n Slide, and Bouncy Houses, and display of our Fire Trucks. Lots of food, things for the kids, and parent alike.

SOAP BOX

Our annual Soap box derby is held in September with handmade wooden soapboxes for the children in our community to use. The main road is closed, and the soapboxes race down the hill. Lots of fun for the children, with trophies, ribbons and hotdogs to enjoy.

HALLOWEEN

Families gather to enjoy hotdogs and hot chocolate the downstairs meeting room decorated for Halloween. Firefighters and parents hand out treats to the children dressed in costumes. A large bonfire for all to enjoy and the evening highlight is a wonderful fire works display.
